This collection contains correspondence, accounts, clippings, genealogies, photographs, certificates, and other miscellaneous materials from members of the Sibley and Jennings families from 1845 to 1980. Majority of this collection is comprised of James Longstreet Sibley's (1863-1945) correspondence and accounts regarding his personal life and career as a farmer in Milledgeville, Georgia. Also included are the correspondence, photographs, and naval uniforms of Erwin Sibley (1890-1979); the correspondence of Josephine King Sibley Jennings (1893-1980) as well as James Longstreet Sibley Jennings, Jr. (1941- ).
